Exceptional location to visit Mekong River

A wonderful place to spent time on the Mekong.

We really enjoyed our stay but found the food a bit bland and overpriced along with the cocktails. We were also disappointed when we asked for fishing rods to be told there were none available even though the hotel was practically empty. Also we had a glass of wine with dinner on the first 2 nights but on the 3rd night we were told we couldn't have it by the glass anymore, only by the bottle. This was very disappointing and we felt we were being pushed into buying the whole bottle, which again was overpriced. So mixed feelings, we loved the setting and the room but feel that the food and drinks make it not so good.

In the restaurant, the service shoudl be quicker. We waited 15 minutes for 2 scoops of icecream. they forgot to explain us the menu when we checked in. we asked for 2 rooms connected when we booked. but nobody answered us and we discovered when we arrived that we weren't in the same bungalow. there was no bathtube for our baby.

Very good over-all experience. We would like to make a suggestion, however. As a resort founded on an organic farm, maybe re-think the use of individual small plastic water bottles in the rooms and at the restaurant. How about supplying cooled water from large containers in re-fillable bottles? Plastic waste is a serious environmental issue.

Very nice place with very nice people. Well integrated infrastructures, beautiful, clean, functional. The breakfast is really excellent. The swimming pool is awesome. We enjoy the bicycles. The surrounding area is wonderful. By cons, the tour was unfortunately a floor down: expensive, many sollicitations of shopping, does not fit the description (no floatting market), shorter in time (only 15 minutes in the bargees)

I spent 3 wonderful days at the MRR. Very helpful and very friendly staff. The environment is also exceptionnal !!

My husband and I really enjoyed our room with view on the Mekong River. Beautiful garden and very nice swimming pool. I recommend this hotel for visiting the mekong area.

Staff was very attentive, somewhat too attentive at times for me. Riverview is nice, however the Mekong is a big river with big boats that make noise. Little activity options for solo travellers.

Our 3-day trip was relaxing with plenty of activities. The staff were very nice, helpful, and attentive. We will come back when we have the opportunity.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The restaurant was quite good too.

If you're looking for a place to chill out, this is the place to be. Very secluded and private. Wonderful swimming pool. Staff were great, especially the F&B manager, Mr Nguyen. Thank you for a easy getting away from HCMC.

Nice hotel in a great location. Really relaxing environment with great opportunity to see the life on the river. I saw others who said that the river rooms were too noisy, but I did not feel that. A bit noisy during the day but once we needed to sleep it all quieted down. Definitely worth it to have a front row seat to the boats going by. Half day morning tour to the floating market was great. We went at 7am which was great because it was before the hordes of tourists from HCMC and cruises arrived. Also rented a bicycle. Definitely take one with a lock so you can lock it in town and walk around. Food in restaurant was good.

We booked the 2 night, 3 Day option from the webpage with 3 packages. I must say that our stay was great and everything was good. The only comment I have was that we took a bike tour and then a boat tour the following day and the tours were very similar. We visited the same market in Cai Be and the same ancient house on both tours. You may want to make sure that there is less overlap on the tours in the future.

Fuimos mi con nuestros dos ninos de 5 y 7 anos y la estancia fue increible. El hotel esta en a un par de kms de Cai Be, alejado y sin servicio de taxi, con lo que tienes que contar que cenas y comidas casi seguro las haces en el hotel. Las habitaciones son justas, pero para 2+1 o 2+2 si el nino es pequeno estan muy correctas. Las que tiene vistas al rio valen la pena. El trato de todos los empleados es increible, desde recepcion hasta el manaeger del restaurante, pasando por las guapisimas y alegres camareras. Mi hija tuvo un problema con la bici y se le engancho el pie en la rueda de detras. A parte de estar super pendiente de ella,esa misma tarde compraron una sillita adaptada para ella, que utilizamos al dia siguiente. Cai Be es muy pequeno y no tiene mucho por ver, pero este hotel merece una o un par de noches.

Mekong Riverside Boutique Resort will always be one of my unique memoirs throughout life; I will always remember how it was when I turned 26-years of age because of how beautiful the place was and on top of that, the hotel staff were very friendly and took care of everything we needed from information to just plain courtesy; they knew how to address us -- and that of class. A great place to stay-in when in the Cai Be District of Vietnam as the activities offered within the complex itself is enough to keep you busily relaxed and is situated right at the tip of true Vietnamese culture. Simply, outstanding!

The gardens are beautiful, the bungalows very nice. Restaurant: food is very nice but the atmosphere could use some improvement. The lightning is not very intimate. And sorry to say: we don't like life music while we are enjoying diner. That said: we enjoyed our stay!

Pleasant stay, friendly and helpful staff, with great organic garden. It's truly a unique experience in Mekong delta. Strongly recommend.

Very nice and peaceful stay

A beautiful, relaxing paradise. From check in, in a lovely, open structure looking onto flowers to the well appointed room where we could watch the various craft on the mighty Mekong pass directly in front of us. The placement right on the River is special. The food was fresh and well prepared and all the people were delightful. The tours - to the floating market in the daytime and at night, with authentic entertainment were a highlight. Don't worry about mosquitoes - the resort has taken measures to ensure none in the rooms and provides nets. We had no encounters with mosquitoes during our stay at the resort. Highly recommended

My wife and I spent 6 nights in March staying in a River View Villa. The facilities of the resort were first class and the staff could not have been more helpful. Highlights of our stay included a tour of the resort's plantation and picking a basket of produce from the garden and then enjoying a tasty meal prepared by the kitchen staff from our selection. Another highlight was the 'Sunset Dinner Cruise', a 5 course meal enjoyed on the water whilst listening to local musicians and singers. The resort staff also arranged our transport to and from the airport in HCM city.

The resort is paradise. We had the extended excursion package and all activities were well planed and very appreciated. The pool is amazing. And we were quite impress by the quality and quantity of food. Overall, one our best souvenir of Vietnam.

Our stay in the Mekong Riverside Resort was one of the best we've had (and we travel a lot!). This beautiful eco-lodge has been designed with thought and care down to every detail. Quang and the restaurant staff were wonderful--exceedingly friendly and helpful. The talented chef uses mainly local ingredients grown (or caught in the river!) on premise. Through the use of the free bikes to head into the village, along with a private boat trip (look out for fabulous guide Vu at the agency in town!), we were able to get a truly local experience whilst enjoying the infinity pool, fine dining, and lovely bungalow in the evenings. We only hope the resort doesn't expand too much as its intimate size makes it all the more appealing!

Excellent boutique resort friendly and caring staff, best thing to do at the start of holidays as I was able to slow down and become very relaxed for our month in Vietnam

This is really a fabulous Resort!! Beautiful situated. Quiet. A must for tourist who wants to visit the real Vietnamese way of live in the Mekong Delta. Suggestions: -There are great possibilities to cycle. Improve the knowledge of the Staff about this! -Educate the Staff in the English language to avoid miscommunication -Improve the shuttle service between HCM city (airport) and the Resort.

emplacement exceptionnel pour s'immerger dans l atmosphère du Mékong. Hotel en devenir (encore des travaux) mais déja excellent.(restauration , personnel très serviable et dévoué) Malheureusement seul le manager pose un problème , jeune loup prétentieux , limite correct avec son personnel et surtout les clients .
